WITH USURA (2001/2004)

3-channel video-installation / rear projections in vertical 16:9 format / sequences of different duration,  in loop / dimensions variable (mimimum size of screens H320cm x W140cm)

A performative video piece wherein three monumental figures are presented, standing, yet strangely restless, as the camera seems to spin around them.
They are in fact suspended head down by their feet, undergoing an implicit process of exhaustion.
Their expressions and gestures are distorted & involuntary, generating a situation of discomfort that is both comical & painful.
